The Role:
As Indirect Tax Manager, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality VAT advisory services and VAT compliance.
Your work will include reviewing and overseeing VAT returns, managing VAT registrations and group changes, carrying out VAT health checks, and advising on complex transactions. You will also liaise with HMRC on client matters, ensuring practical and timely resolutions. Provide clear, practical VAT advice to clients across a range of industries using your technical knowledge alongside bringing in experts from the wider team where necessary.

Keep up to date with changes in VAT legislation, ensuring clients remain fully compliant. Using this information to share with clients face to face as well through newsletters, seminars and other forms of media.
Experience Required:
You will be an experienced VAT specialist, qualified CTA, ACA, ACCA or with equivalent experience gained in practice.
Experience will come from either practice or Industry, applications welcome from those in-house looking for a wider variety and technical challenge or those in the profession keen to be part of a winning team where careers are developed based upon individual performance.
A strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build long-term client relationships are essential.
