The Role:

Working as part of a specialist team, this position will see you responsible for the collation, analysis and interpretation of financial and statistical data to support client reporting and internal decision-making processes.

Your role will include:

  • Using Excel to model and analyse financial data

  • Interpreting complex data sets and presenting your findings clearly

  • Identifying anomalies and preparing summary reports

  • Providing analytical support to colleagues and clients

  • Monitoring and updating data regularly for accuracy

  • Liaising with internal teams and occasionally clients to clarify and resolve data queries

  • Supporting system improvements and reporting processes

This is a technically focused role where your attention to detail, ability to work independently, and comfort with large data sets will be valued.

Experience Required:

  • Strong Excel skills (advanced level or above)

  • Excellent numerical and analytical ability

  • Experience working in a professional services environment

  • Organised and methodical, with great attention to detail

  • Clear communicator – confident in working with both data and people

  • Experience with payroll or pensions useful but not essential

  • AAT qualified or equivalent experience is beneficial
