The Role:

We are looking for a Corporate Tax professional at Assistant Manager level to join the team and support on a range of advisory and compliance matters. You will work across a varied and interesting portfolio, with a particular focus on R&D tax claims, corporate tax advisory projects, and occasionally private client work.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing R&D tax credit claims

  • Supporting corporate clients with a range of tax advisory needs, including restructures, sales, and share schemes

  • Managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of clients

  • Collaborating with colleagues across the wider team and contributing to project delivery

  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members

Experience Required:

  • You will be ACA and/or CTA qualified, or at the final stages of qualification

  • Strong corporate tax experience is essential, ideally gained in a public practice setting

  • Recent experience of R&D tax is highly desirable

  • Exposure to personal tax or wider advisory work would be advantageous but not essential

  • You’ll be confident working directly with clients, with a proactive and professional approach
