They are looking to welcome an Audit Senior to their team.
The Role:
As an Audit Senior, you’ll take responsibility for leading audits from planning through to completion, working across a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and larger complex groups. You’ll liaise directly with clients, manage on-site teams, and ensure audit files are delivered to a high standard and within deadlines.
Your day-to-day will include:
Planning and scoping audits, assessing risk, and setting audit strategy.
Leading fieldwork, overseeing junior staff, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Reviewing work, resolving technical issues, and presenting findings to clients.
Building strong client relationships, offering commercial insight alongside compliance work.
Supporting the Audit Manager with workflow management and departmental improvements.
Coaching and mentoring trainees to help develop their skills and confidence.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the autonomy to manage assignments, the opportunity to progress towards a supervisory position, and the satisfaction of making a direct impact on both clients and the audit team.
Experience Required:
You’ll be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with solid audit experience gained in practice. You’ll be confident leading audits, capable of managing multiple projects, and able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels. Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and a collaborative approach are key to success here.
