The Role:
As an Inheritance Tax Specialist, you will provide comprehensive advice to high-net-worth clients, their families, and trustees, ensuring effective tax planning aligned with clients’ wider wealth objectives. You’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, take ownership of complex IHT planning assignments, and work closely with Partners and the private client team to deliver tailored solutions. Typical responsibilities include:
Providing technical IHT advice and guidance to clients and their advisers
Structuring estates and wealth transfers to minimise liabilities
Reviewing wills, trusts, and succession plans
Advising on lifetime gifts, trusts, and charitable giving strategies
Supporting business succession and family wealth planning
Experience Required:
CTA-qualified, ACA-qualified, or equivalent professional credentials
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in private client tax, with proven experience advising on inheritance tax planning
Strong technical knowledge of IHT legislation, trusts, and estate planning
Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients
Strong communication and advisory skills, with the confidence to manage complex matters independently

The Role:
We are looking for a confident and capable Indirect Tax professional to join the team as a Senior, specialising in VAT. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, helping them improve their indirect tax compliance and efficiency.
You’ll be involved in advising how VAT impacts clients’ supply chains, financial processes, and accounting systems, while supporting them to improve reporting, reduce errors, manage working capital, and minimise costs.
You’ll work closely with senior team members to deliver tax projects, build strong client relationships, and contribute to winning new work. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting senior colleagues in building and maintaining client relationships
Delivering high-quality VAT advisory and compliance services
Managing the day-to-day liaison with clients, ensuring expectations are met
Identifying areas of risk and knowing when to escalate
Contributing to business development through managing existing clients and identifying new opportunities
Ensuring work is delivered with technical excellence and a practical, commercial focus.
Experience Required:
Proven UK VAT experience, gained within practice or an in-house tax team
Strong technical VAT skills with a genuine interest in developing your expertise further
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to different audiences
Commercially aware and client-focused, with the ability to build strong relationships
A collaborative team player who can work effectively at all levels
ATT / ACA / CA / CTA or equivalent tax qualification preferred, but not essential — relevant experience will be fully considered
Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training or equivalent knowledge are also encouraged to apply

The Role:
Supporting the Manager and Partnership group within the firm you will be required to establish relationships with your key client contacts, these can be tailored to your experience but will expose you to both corporate and not for profit entities. Leading on audit assignments you will spend time both on site as well as working remotely on some audits. You can also spread your time between home and office with flexibility afforded to suit your working week. You will be expected to identify issues and agree resolutions internally ensuring your Manager / Partner is up to date on job progress. Your previous experience in audit will equip you well to be aware of commercial aspects of clients businesses and their impact, alongside the ability to identify and highlight opportunities for the wider firm to undertake further services.
Experience Required:
You will be fully ACA/ACCA qualified with UK audit experience within an accounting firm. You must be able to demonstrate audit and accounts experience from a professional services firm and be used to liaising with clients direct. Naturally you will have good communication skills and enjoy the interaction this role brings. You must have the capacity to manage projects and deadlines wit strong organisation skills.
