The Role:
Due to continued growth within the audit department, an opportunity has arisen for a qualified Audit Senior to join the Newcastle team.
Working primarily within external audit, you will take responsibility for leading audit assignments from planning through to completion across a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed businesses. You will work closely with Audit Managers and Partners, ensuring assignments are delivered efficiently, on time and to the highest professional standards.
Responsibilities will include planning audit assignments, identifying key risk areas, leading fieldwork both on-site and remotely, reviewing audit files and preparing completion documentation. You will be involved in preparing and presenting findings to clients, building trusted relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.
As a senior member of the team, you will also supervise, coach and mentor junior colleagues, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional development. Experience Required:
