The Role:
Due to increasing demand, the firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Adviser or Senior Manager to join and strengthen its established Trust & Estates offering.
This is a varied and client-facing role, combining trust administration, tax compliance and advisory work. You will manage your own portfolio, working closely with senior colleagues and professional contacts to deliver high-quality tax and estate planning services.
There is genuine scope to help shape and grow the tax function, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys private client work and wants to play a key role in developing a specialist offering within a respected firm.
Experience Required:
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Experience in trust and estate tax compliance
A strong understanding of IHT, CGT and income tax in a private client context
Experience administering and managing trusts
Confidence dealing directly with clients and professional advisers
A proactive mindset and interest in developing a growing team
ATT/CTA/STEP or qualified by experience

The Role:
Lead the delivery of VAT services across a varied client base, ensuring technical excellence and commercial insight.
Manage and mentor a dedicated team of VAT professionals, developing their expertise and supporting their career progression.
Advise on domestic and international VAT matters, providing strategic guidance to minimise risk and optimise tax efficiency.
Oversee complex VAT compliance and advisory assignments, from initial scoping to delivery.
Keep clients and colleagues informed of legislative changes, translating technical updates into clear, actionable advice.
Collaborate with other departments to offer joined-up, value-added solutions.
Contribute to business development by building relationships, identifying opportunities, and supporting proposals.
Champion process improvements to ensure efficient, consistent, and high-quality service delivery.
Experience Required:
Professionally qualified (CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with extensive experience in VAT consultancy and compliance.
Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team.
Strong track record of advising on complex VAT issues for a broad range of clients, ideally including international operations.
Commercially minded with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Confident communicator with the ability to present technical matters clearly to both clients and colleagues.
Adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
