The Firm:
A well established accountancy firm in Northumberland with a long track record of serving local clients with their accounting needs is looking to appoint an Accountant to support the team on a day to day basis with their growing client base. With offering condensed hours and a 4 day working week this is one to consider, especially if you are looking to gain a great work-life balance, without impacting salary and wish to avoid the commute into the city centre.
The Role:
As an Accountant you will be working closely as part of the team delivering bookkeeping and annual accounts services to a portfolio of clients. Your focus will be working with their smaller Limited companies and a few sole traders, ensuring their VAT and bookkeeping is finalised and ready for year end completion.
A general practice role that offers variety with the preparation of accounts, tax returns, management accounts and cloud based accounting.
Experience Required:
AAT qualified or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience from an accountancy practice.
Must be competent preparing statutory year end accounts independently.
Familiar with using cloud base packages such as Xero and QuickBooks
Able to liaise confidently with clients and manage own workload and keep to deadlines.
