With ongoing success in both their traditional services and outsourced finance function, they are looking to invest in talent that will support the continued growth of the firm with their statutory accounting.

The Role:

As Manager or Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Manager, taking an active role in the delivery and coordination of general practice services to a wide range of SME clients.

This is a varied position that will see you:

  • Prepare statutory accounts and monthly management accounts

  • Oversee bookkeeping processes and review junior staff work

  • Handle client queries and maintain strong relationships

  • Assist with internal team workflow, including the allocation of jobs and billing

  • Provide day-to-day support to apprentices and trainee accountants

  • Contribute to the smooth running of the department alongside the Senior Manager

The client base spans multiple industries, offering you the chance to work across a broad range of businesses and develop well-rounded experience.

Experience Required:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified, finalist, or qualified by experience

  • Minimum of 3 years working in an accountancy firm

  • Strong technical background in statutory and management accounting

  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and working proactively with clients

  • Keen to take on responsibility, support junior team members, and contribute to operational delivery

  • An interest in progressing further as the firm grows

  • Eligible to work in the UK

This role would suit either an experienced Manager or someone ready to step up into their first management position, with mentoring and development on offer to help you succeed.
