The Role:
As an Accountant you will be working closely as part of the team delivering bookkeeping and annual accounts services to a portfolio of clients. Your focus will be working with their smaller Limited companies and a few sole traders, ensuring their VAT and bookkeeping is finalised and ready for year end completion.
A general practice role that offers variety with the preparation of accounts, tax returns, management accounts and cloud based accounting.
Experience Required:
AAT qualified or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience from an accountancy practice.
Must be competent preparing statutory year end accounts independently.
Familiar with using cloud base packages such as Xero and QuickBooks
Able to liaise confidently with clients and manage own workload and keep to deadlines.

The Role:
Due to continued growth an opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Senior to work closely with the leadership team to provide a high-quality service across a broad range of accounting tasks. This is a varied, hands-on position offering exposure to multiple areas including Statutory accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and payroll. You will be involved in liaising with both clients, 3rd party providers and HMRC as part of your day to day responsibilities.
Experience Required:
This is an office based role where the suitable candidate will hold a minimum of 4-5 years experience within an accountancy practice. Alongside your experience you will be AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate your ability to work independently on accounts preparation, VAT returns and bookkeeping.
Working with clients each day you will be a confident communicator as well as good team player and value the benefit of developing strong client relationships. We are looking to an organised individual who can manage deadlines efficiently and is experienced using software such as Xero, Sage, Brightpay or similar.
