The Role:
Working closely with the Partner, you will take responsibility for supporting a varied portfolio of small businesses, providing a true 360° accounting service from bookkeeping through to year-end accounts preparation.
Your work will include preparing statutory accounts, completing and submitting VAT returns, supporting clients with cloud accounting software, and assisting with both personal and business tax compliance matters. As relationships develop, you will become a trusted point of contact for your own clients, providing practical advice and building long-term client relationships.
This role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on and involved in all aspects of practice accounting. Equally, for an ambitious accountant with aspirations of one day running or owning their own practice, the Partner is happy to offer genuine mentoring and succession planning for the right individual.
Experience Required:
Applicants must have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and be confident managing accounts preparation for a varied portfolio of SME clients.
You will ideally have:
Several years' experience within an accountancy practice.
Experience preparing year-end accounts for limited companies and sole traders.
Knowledge of VAT returns and bookkeeping.
Experience using cloud accounting software, particularly Xero.
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build long-term client relationships.
A friendly, approachable personality and a genuine desire to become part of a small, supportive team.

The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Corporate Tax Manager (or an experienced Tax Manager ready to step up) to join a highly regarded tax team.
You will take ownership of your own portfolio of corporate clients, overseeing compliance while playing a key role in delivering advisory services alongside the Tax Partners. In addition, you will support the day-to-day management of the team, helping to plan workflow, mentor junior staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality work.

Experience required:
The successful candidate will:
Be CTA / ACA / ACCA / CA qualified (or equivalent)

Be operating at Manager level or above, or ready to step into a Senior Manager role
Have strong technical knowledge and enjoy working on complex tax matters
Be confident managing client relationships and delivering a high level of service
Have experience working with SME clients
Be proactive, commercially aware and keen to contribute to team development

ATT/CTA/STEP or qualified by experience
