The Firm:
With huge emphasis placed upon culture and it’s people this Newcastle based firm of Chartered Accountants are looking to appoint an HR Advisor to support not only the welfare needs of the staff but also to assist in the continuous growing headcount as they expand.
The Role:
An exciting opportunity to lead the HR & talent acquisition strategy for the firm which will see you responsible for:
Meeting with Partners to understands the needs and requirements of their service line.
Writing job advertisements, advertising and marketing job postings and firm wide.
Liaison with recruitment agents to establish a long-term beneficial relationship.
Managing the interview process through to offer, onboarding, induction and probation stage.
Writing offer letters, drafting employment contracts and obtaining relevant supporting compliance documentation.
Involvement in graduate recruitment programme.
Generalist HR issues, managing holidays, promotion letters, leavers and exit interviews
Managing and review of the compliance with annual CPD plans.
Experience required:
Minimum of two years HR experience, preferably gained in a similar professional services environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organisational skills, able to meet deadlines
Good attention to detail in all written work.
Prior recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
An understanding of accountancy and or HR related qualification are both desirable but not essential.
