With continued growth in their Newcastle office, they are now looking for an Audit Associate to join their friendly and professional team.
The Role:
You’ll work with a wide range of clients across different sectors, gaining valuable exposure and building your technical skills. The firm offers a supportive environment where your ideas are welcomed, and you’ll benefit from ongoing training and development to help you progress towards qualification.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning and delivering audit assignments from start to finish. 
- Leading smaller audits and guiding junior team members. 
- Building great client relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact. 
- Reviewing work for accuracy and compliance. 
- Spotting opportunities where clients could benefit from additional support. 
Experience Require::
- Excellent communication skills – both written and oral with an interest to develop key client relationships. 
- Knowledge of current accounting standards, techniques and best practice. 
- Part ACA qualified with previous audit experience in an accountancy practice. 
- A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills. 
- Detail-focused and able to work to deadlines. 
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and grow.

With a strong reputation in the market place this firm of Chartered Accountants work with an enviable client list providing the Tax Director they appoint a diverse and interesting portfolio of advisory work to deliver on.
The Role:
Embracing modern technology and an exciting portfolio of clients to work with your role will see you involved in the delivery of both compliance and advisory services, supporting the Partner group and wider tax team across personal and corporate tax.
In a hands on capacity you will be reviewing and finalising tax computations, managing workflow across the team whilst providing guidance and technical support on tax issues that arise which may also include technical workshops across the firm.
Delivery on tax projects including IHT, R&D and corporate restructuring to name a few which will also include research for the Partners.
Whilst not essential (should you prefer more of a technical back office role this can be accommodated) you will be afforded the opportunity to proactively engage with new clients, meet existing to deliver pre and post year end planning as well as attending external network events
Experience required:
As a qualified tax and or Accountant (CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA ) you will have a career that demonstrates your compliance and advisory skills in a mixed tax capacity with exposure to a range of tax issues operating at either Director or Senior Manager level within practice.
Knowledge of specialist tax areas including but not limited to trusts, IHT, corporation tax, residency, corporate reorganisations is desired.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial leader and therefore require someone with the ability to make decisions, influence, build rapport gaining trust, show initiative, drive and ultimately lead a team effectively.
