The Role:
An opportunity to work in a general practice accounting role providing support to the Partners with both the preparation of statutory year end accounts, VAT returns and bookkeeping. Any experience with payroll would be a bonus.
Gathering information from clients to complete year end statutory accounts and provide management information.
Providing financial advice
Completing VAT returns
Management of financial and accounting systems
Developing relationships with clients, answering any queries they may have about their accounts alongside the Partner
Assisting the team with a small handful of payrolls (flexible element to the role)
Maintaining client records
Liaison with HMRC and 3rd party where necessary
Supporting trainees in the office with their accounts understanding
Experience Required:
We are looking for an Accountant (qualified, part-qualified or by experience) who has experience working in a general accounting practice and can offer the skill sets required to prepare year end financial statements for clients.
Your experience will have been gained to UK accounting standards, able to hit the ground running in this position.
