The Role:

Due to continued growth and new client wins, the firm is looking to appoint an Accounts Senior to join their successful and expanding Healthcare division.

This is a varied and interesting role, offering the opportunity to specialise in the healthcare sector, working closely with GP practices, dental practices and other healthcare businesses.

You will act as a key point of contact for your own portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounts work while being part of a collaborative and sociable team.

Your day to day responsibilities will include the preparation of year-end statutory accounts for small and medium-sized limited companies along with the production of partnership accounts for GP practices, dental practices and other healthcare clients. Your remit will also cover bookkeeping and VAT returns, primarily using Xero. Managing your own workload and liaising with yout portfolio of clients will provide ownership and job satisfaction.

Experience Required:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified, or AAT qualified with relevant experience

  • Previous experience in an accounts preparation role within public practice

  • Experience with healthcare clients is beneficial but not essential, an interest to learn is all that is required.

  • Comfortable using cloud accounting systems, particularly Xero

  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Interested in developing long-term expertise within a specialist sector
