The Firm:
New to the Newcastle market, yet a well known name across the UK this opportunity sits within a forward-thinking national accountancy practice that continues to expand its client portfolio and its technical capability. With sustained investment driving growth, the tax team is evolving rapidly, creating a need for an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager / or Manager who can shape the next phase of development. The Role:
Working as part of an established corporation tax compliance function, you’ll take responsibility for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses to more complex corporate groups.
Your role will include:
Overseeing the delivery of compliance work through a team of seniors and trainees
Acting as a trusted point of technical input for colleagues and clients
Ensuring work is allocated effectively to support team development and meet deadlines
Building strong internal relationships to ensure smooth workflows across departments
Supporting senior leadership with departmental initiatives, process improvements and knowledge sharing
Playing an active part in mentoring, coaching and contributing to the long-term growth of the team
This is a role that offers genuine influence, visibility and the scope to help shape how the corporate tax function evolves as the firm continues to grow.
Experience Required:
A recognised tax or accounting qualification (CTA/ATT/ACA/ACCA) or equivalent experience
Strong experience within corporate tax compliance in a professional practice environment
Confidence in managing client relationships and communicating technical matters clearly
The ability to prioritise effectively, delegate appropriately and work collaboratively
A forward-thinking mindset with the confidence to contribute ideas, challenge processes and support change
A supportive approach, with the ability to guide, develop and motivate team members
