The Role:

We are looking for a Corporate Tax professional at Senior or even Assistant Manager level to join the team and support on a range of advisory and compliance matters. You will work across a varied and interesting portfolio, supporting the Corporate Tax Manager with the day to day.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns for a varied portfolio of companies

  • Ensure all filings are completed accurately and in line with UK tax legislation and HMRC deadlines

  • Support the delivery of corporate tax advisory projects, including group restructures, R&D claims, capital allowances, and share schemes

  • Assist with tax planning work, identifying opportunities to add value for clients

  • Liaise directly with clients to gather information, explain tax positions, and resolve queries

  • Attendance at Client meetings alongside the Director.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a corporate tax compliance or advisory environment

  • Strong knowledge of corporation tax legislation, filing requirements, and HMRC processes

  • Experience preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns for a variety of clients

  • Exposure to tax advisory work such as group restructures, capital allowances, R&D claims, or share schemes would be advantageous but not essential

  • Ability to manage a client portfolio and liaise directly with clients and external advisers

  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work a bonus, not essential

  • Strong analytical and technical research skills

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines across multiple clients

  • Confident in using tax software (e.g., CCH, or similar) and Microsoft Office
