The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious practice professional seeking exposure to both audit and accounts work within a varied client portfolio.
Working closely with Audit Seniors, Managers and Partners, you will assist in the planning and completion of audit assignments for a range of corporate clients across multiple sectors. Alongside audit work, you will be involved in the preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, gaining broad exposure to general practice services.
You will have regular client contact, both on-site and remotely, helping to build strong professional relationships while developing your technical knowledge and commercial understanding.
As your experience grows, you will be given increasing responsibility for managing assignments, supporting junior team members and contributing to the successful delivery of client work.
Experience Required:
Applicants should have previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment, ideally within an audit and accounts role.
You will typically:
Be studying towards ACA or ACCA, AAT qualified, or qualified by experience
Have experience assisting with audit assignments and accounts preparation
Possess a good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Be comfortable communicating with clients and colleagues at all levels
Have a positive attitude and a genuine desire to continue learning and developing within practice
