The Role:
As an Accounts Senior, you’ll work closely with your colleagues to deliver high-quality accounting services to a varied portfolio of SME clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies
Completing corporation and personal tax returns
Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts
Reviewing VAT returns and supporting clients with bookkeeping queries
Supporting the training and mentoring of junior staff
Liaising directly with clients, managing queries, and building long-term relationships
Using software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and IRIS
This is a hands-on role offering variety and autonomy, with support to continue your professional development.
Experience Required:
AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, or qualified by experience
Minimum of 3 years working in a UK accountancy firm
Confident preparing statutory accounts and tax returns
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload
A good communicator who enjoys working closely with clients and supporting colleagues

As they continue to experience strong growth—particularly in their outsourced Finance Director service—they are now looking to welcome a Management Accountant into their close-knit, high-performing team.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Partners, supporting their portfolio of SME clients who rely on the firm for FD and Financial Controller-level support.
You’ll be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts across a variety of systems (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, CCH, IRIS), analysing P&L and balance sheets, handling cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and contributing to strategic discussions. There is regular liaison with business owners and senior stakeholders, so strong relationship-building skills are essential.

Experience Required
Proven experience preparing management accounts and financial analysis
Background in either accountancy practice, industry, or both—ideal candidates will understand the client perspective from both sides
Strong communication skills and confidence dealing directly with business owners
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines with ease
Comfortable using cloud-based software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and keen to embrace modern technology
Eligible to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
