The Firm:
An accountancy practice with a growing number of offices who provide services to High Net Worth Individuals are looking to appoint an experienced Administrator to their small yet growing team in Teesside. The role is varied and offers a great opportunity to learn additional skills and progress within other areas of the practice once you have gained the experience.
The Role:
The role is office based and will focus on supporting the administration function within the practice and requires a professional hard-working individual with an excellent telephone manner and good attention to detail. You will often be the first point of contact for all clients, whether that be face to face or on the telephone, so we are looking for an individual who enjoys communicating with people.
Your day to day will be varied and include the following:
Acting as the first point of contact for clients, managing calls and emails professionally and efficiently.
Handling and redirecting enquiries to relevant team members, ensuring timely responses.
Managing and building relationships with a variety of high-net-worth clients, always providing outstanding service.
Assisting the senior team in the monitoring of filing deadlines.
Requesting and booking in client records, ensuring all required information has been received (training can be given).
Verifying client accounting records and maintaining accurate logs on spreadsheets and databases.
Updating and maintaining the accounting database and systems.
General administrative and ad hoc office duties.
Experience Required:
Our preference is to appoint an individual from either an accountancy practice or a professional services background such as legal or medical but if you have gained plenty of customer service experience in a similar office environment we welcome your interest.
You must possess excellent communication skills with a good standard of english, able to engage and connect with a wide array of audiences by phone and email.
The ability to prioritise attention to detail and have a “can do” attitude.
Have previous experience working within a busy, fast paced office environment.
The ability to be adaptable and flexible, able to work on your initiative as well as part of a team.
You need to be organised to ensure your daily administrative duties and projects are completed timely. The ability to plan and multi-task is essential.
Good IT Skills able to use Microsoft office programmes. Training in additional systems, such as IRIS will be provided.
Benefits:
Office based permanent position working 9-5 and a 4pm finish on Fridays.
