The Firm:

A large national accountancy firm with a strong audit team working with an array of international, national and local businesses are seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to support their successful audit team. With a strong focus upon career development and a healthy work life balance this is a great move for an Audit Senior wishing to further their own personal development gaining exposure in a management position.

The Role:

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality audits across a diverse client base. Working closely with your team, you’ll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring each file is thoroughly documented and meets professional standards.

You’ll be hands-on with fieldwork, leading substantive and analytical testing—often on site with clients—and trusted to apply your professional judgement in identifying key risks or areas of concern. As your experience grows, you’ll take increasing responsibility for planning, executing and finalising audits for review by the Manager or Partner, developing both your technical expertise and leadership skills along the way as you progress to Manager and beyond. With a personalised individual development plan you can expect a high level of support and fast progression.

Experence Required:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified.

  • Qualified by experience also considered with the releavant audit experience

  • Minimum of 3-4 years relevant UK external audit experience

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral with an interest to develop key client relationships.

  • Knowledge of current accounting standards, techniques and best practice.

  • Most likely you will be working as a current Audit Senior or Assistant Manager who is looking to join an ambitious firm that can facilitate your career growth and provide a wide breadth of exposure.
