Audit Manager

A leading accountancy firm who are rapidly growing in the North East of england are searching for an Audit Manager to join their team in a newly created role as a result of their recent expansion. Based in their Newcastle city centre offices you will help to deliver the completion of audit assignments, audit file review and ensure the team deliver to deadlines and budgets

As Audit Manager within the local team you will have day to day responsibility for the audit process, predominantly working with Owner Managed Businesses and larger subsidiaries. You will have the resource both locally and within the firms other offices to ensure timely delivery of files for audit review, acting as the principal contact for larger clients on day to day audit matters. You will work closely with the Audit Partner to facilitate your technical knowledge and learning.

Your experience:

• A professional with strong leadership and communication skills you will have the ability to carefully influence others in a positive manner.

• You will be qualified ACA  / ACCA  (or equivalent) with relevant or similar audit experience to this position along with practical experience working with software systems in the preparation of audit files, financial statements and audit working papers
