Audit & Accounts Manager

We are searching for an ambitious Assistant / Manager in audit who is qualified sufficiently to undertake a Managerial role working across both audit and accounts for our client in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

With succession planning very much in the minds of the Partner group,  this well respected, professional and friendly accountancy firm are looking to offer an opportunity to a qualified auditor who would be interested in progressing their career within audit.

You must be capable of overseeing a small audit and accounts team, managing the delivery of audit engagements from planning through to completion stage and reviewing statutory accounts. Your technical knowledge will ensure that you provide the required proficiency in relevant accounting standards, as well as extensive audit experience.

This role would suit those passionate about audit, keen to work in a smallish environment in a day to day role that encompasses an audit and accounts mix alongside staff supervision. You will be working with both SME / OMB’s as well as a handful of Not For Profit clients

You must be currently working in an accountancy firm, qualified (ACA/ACCA/CA) with the relevant experience in primarily audit. We are looking for a professional with passion and enthusiasm alongside the communication skills needed to engage with clients.

As you settle into the role you will play an instrumental role in the day to day leadership of the team as you work closely with the Partners enabling you a vision of what your future progression may look like.

This role is a great prospect for a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CA) ready to undertake a leadership role with fast progression and daily training and support provided to further develop your softer skills.
