Tax Senior

An accountancy firm in Durham are seeking to grow their existing tax team with the addition of an experienced Tax Senior. Working with a team of personal and corporate tax compliance and advisory specialists this a great environment to further your technical knowledge and is well suited to those considering their next steps after qualifying with their ATT.

As Tax Senior you will bring with you previous compliance experience and be competent with the preparation of tax returns for a wide range of clients from Directors, Sole Traders, HNWI’s and Partnerships. Supporting them with their compliance, you will be the first point of contact to help guide and enable them to understand their tax compliance obligations and legislative changes.

The position supports CTA for those who have an interest in furthering their technical learning but is equally available to those who are happy working at a Tax Senior level with no requirement to progress or study further.

There will be some exposure to advisory and planning with your portfolio and you will be encouraged to work with more senior members of the tax team to widen your learning. There will also be some corporate tax compliance to manage. Previous experience would be advantageous but full training will be provided in this area.
