Tax Associate

A leading accountancy firm in their field are recruiting a qualified tax advisor (CTA or ACA) to join their tax advisory team in Newcastle providing tailored tax solutions to both corporate and High Net Worth Individuals.

With you own portfolio of clients, you will provide advice on a range of tax advisory projects:

• Assisting clients with the implementation of any associated arrangement
• Assisting clients and their advisers with any related compliance requirements from both an accounting and tax perspective
• Assisting clients and their advisers in dealing with any related enquiries that HM Revenue & Customs may raise
• Managing client and adviser queries from a technical, practical and commercial perspective

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Partner group delivering a diverse and innovative range of tax solutions to your clients. As you grow in experience so will your network of clients and advisors as you effectively account manage and display your growing technical and commercial skill set.

Ongoing support will be provided to the successful applicant to ensure they receive comprehensive training to ensure they are able to provide the right tax advise to clients with a full understanding.

We are looking for an individual who is still developing their advisory experience and is able to build upon their existing knowledge and deliver an excellent client service. The successful applicant must hold a current tax or accountancy qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA) with strong organisational skills and good attention to detail.

Your confidence is key as you develop relationships with clients and 3rd party providers as well as work with internal professionals. Furthermore your communication skills must extend to be able to explain complex technical issues. Working as part of a growing team you will enjoy a team environment but also be comfortable working independently.

Whilst primarily office based you will find yourself out of the office across the week meeting with clients, but also have the flexibility for some hoe working.
