Tax Advisory Manager/Senior Manager

We are working with a professional accountancy firm in Newcastle as they look to further strengthen their corporate and personal tax offering with the addition of a Tax Advisory Manager or Senior Manager. With a tax team that work closely across corporate and personal for the benefit for their clients they are keen to talk to those working in either specialism.  Keen to bring the right person into the team they are able to offer either a mixed tax role or one with a specialism.

With an attractive client base this position gives you the opportunity to work with some really desirable clients across the north east and beyond, at both a Plc and SME level with a range of diverse businesses, presenting plenty of interesting advisory projects.

As a qualified practitioner (ACA/CTA), you will be working with a number of tax specialists who together can provide a full service to clients who often need advice across all aspects on tax with their business. Those areas may include: corporate restructuring, transactional work, capital allowances, R&D, shares, management buy-outs, SEIS & EIS, Income tax, CGT, IHT and more.

A great chance to enhance your existing technical knowledge as you continue with your career progression. There will also be the requirement to mentor more junior staff and whilst the firm are fortunate to be presented with plenty of work you will also have the opportunities to network with the local business community and seek further advisory projects.

A competitive salary and benefits are available for the right individual. This is a full-time position but reduced hours will happily be considered and hybrid working is in place.
