Senior Executive Assistant

£27-30,000pa plus various benefits 35 hours BGC-2071-PA Permanent

We are delighted to be working with a leading accountancy firm who are looking to appoint an experienced senior administrator to join their practice in Newcastle. This is a newly created position to support the Senior Leadership team and Head of Operations for the North East region.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Administrator or Executive Assistant with professional services experience and exposure working at Board level. The successful applicant must be able to deliver on the following:

  • Supporting the Leadership Team with extensive diary management, itinerary preparation, travel arrangements.
  • Assisting with internal systems and data held to ensure they are consistent and correct
  • Line management of two team administrators and management of workflow liaison
  • Providing excellent front of house support including answering calls and welcoming visitors
  • Assisting with the organisation of events
  • Overview of facilities management
  • Working with other support team colleagues to complete all business support office functions
  • Regular maintenance of the internal CRM and accounting system
  • Typing and formatting charity accounts
  • Setting up of new clients, checking paperwork complies and money laundering procedures for sign off including generation and follow up of engagement letters

  • Proven experience working with Board level professionals and a large team
  • Able to manage own workload whilst juggling multiple projects at one time
  • Strong IT skills with an interest in this area
  • Good time management skills
  • Accounts industry knowledge would be desirable, but not essential
  • Operates in a professional and calm manner, and a good team player who takes responsibility and initiative
