Accounts Senior

Based in Tynedale, this is a refreshing opportunity for an experienced accounting professional from practice to join a firm that is ambitious, driven and focused on engaging with their clients. We are looking to attract an Accountant who has experience working in an accounting firm and is able to transition to a new practice with minimal accounting supervision, albeit support to help you settle into the team will be readily available.

You will work with a mix of limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, completing their year end statutory accounts and preferably presenting back the figures and providing advice for their year ahead. Being a small firm your role will be hands on and we are looking for someone who enjoys the variety of getting involved in all aspects of accounts from bookkeeping and tax to finalisation of accounts. Experience of reviewing more junior work would be advantageous and provide support to the Partner who currently undertakes this.

With regular contact with clients, we are looking for either a qualified  (ACA/ACCA/AAT) or qualified by experience Accountant who enjoys building relationships with clients.

The position is office based with some flexibility to work from home and can be offered on either a 4 or 5 day working week to suit.
