Payroll Senior – Part-time
£25-30,000pa DOE Full or Part-time hours BGC-2010-PA Permanent
A small yet rapidly growing firm are looking to appoint a Payroll Senior on a part-time basis to join their team at their modern offices on the outskirts of Gateshead.
With the imminent retirement of an existing member of staff they are looking to welcome a Payroll Senior to work alongside their existing payroll team each with their own portfolio of clients to look after, yet able to provide support to each other.
Your client portfolio consists of monthly payrolls with anything between a couple of Directors and 50 employees on each payroll. There are a small handful of weekly payrolls to also process. Working with Sage 50 you will be responsible for the whole process from start to finish, collating payroll data, calculations, deductions, payments, Auto Enrolment pensions and liaison with HMRC. You will also complete all payroll year end functions.

The position is office based, where the team mix well and like to have fun, creating a great place to work. They are also willing to consider both full-time hours, but this would also include some accounting work during the remainder of your hours, for which you would require prior experience.
In addition to a competitive salary the firm also offer two bonuses each year for performance across the firm.
