£44-58,000pa DOE plus benefits 4 or 5 days available (hybrid) BGC-2251-PA Permanent

We are working with a large organisation based in Newcastle (hybrid working) who are looking to appoint an experienced Payroll Manager or two (multiple vacancies) into their growing team to support on a number of different opportunities.

As a diverse business we are looking to attract an experienced Payroll Manager who with ambition will be responsible for the delivery of high quality and timely payroll services.  Payrolls will vary in size from medium to large across a range of sectors. There are opportunities to mange multiple payrolls and stakeholders at the same time as the chance to work solely with one large business and its sizeable payrolls.  There are a mix of different positions to take advantage of depending upon your skills.

Your day to day will include ultimate responsibility for end to end payroll processing in a timely and accurate fashion, in-depth reviews, technical advise, team queries, workload and billing, staff appraisal and management, budgets and billing, auto-enrolment compliance, internal and external meetings, and payroll and systems implementation to name a few.

This is a demanding yet very rewarding role offering plenty of stimuli. It will require a driven payroll professional with solid uk payroll technical knowledge and strong stakeholder management skills. You must be able to manage your time carefully and that of others to ensure deadlines are met. The ability to  work on multiple tasks at the same time is essential.

We are looking to hear from individuals who have bureau experience or have worked in a high-volume payroll business. You must have end to end payroll knowledge and a minimum of 8 years experience with expertise in understanding payroll compliance, rules and legislation in a multi-country environment. Experience of managing a team is required and those with a payroll qualification would be preferred but not essential.
