Part Qualified Auditor

The Firm:

We are working with a large accountancy firm near Billingham who are looking to appoint a part-qualified Auditor to join their audit and accounts team in their modern and friendly office in County Durham.

The role:

• You will be providing support on site to audit clients, which will include planning, day to day managing of workload and liaising with clients.
• Completion of audit fieldwork and planned substantive and analytical audit procedures working within your own chargeable time and budget.
• Preparation of statutory financial statements from client data and highlight high level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Manager whilst using a significant degree of your own judgement
• Preparation of computations for review by senior staff.
• Working between office, home and clients site to ensure the delivery of a first class audit.

Experience required:

• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA/CA part qualified working towards your professional studies (study support provided)
• Minimum of 12 months UK audit experience working in an accountancy firm with a working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP
• The ability to take ownership of your own portfolio with support from your Manager
• Enjoy meeting new clients and working on-site
• Awareness of delivering revenue and profitability targets
• A natural ability to develop rapport and client relationships
