Corporate Tax Senior Associate

Up to £48,000pa DOE Full/Part-time available BGC2334TX Permanent

The Firm:

A national accountancy firm with a base in Newcastle are looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Senior with experience advising on corporate tax matters to private businesses.  Joining a team who hold a large number of years experience collectively, you will be well placed to enhance your position in the north east market as a “go to specialist” Tax Advisor.

The Brief:

The opportunity requires a Corporate Tax Senior based in Newcastle to deliver a range of tax advisory services that will see you managing client relationships with privately or family owned businesses, private equity portfolio companies and business owners on a broad range of complex matters, with Partner support.

The Role:

 You will be responsible for providing corporate tax advise to privately owned  businesses, wealthy individuals, families and their businesses and private equity backed portfolio companies on managing their company tax affairs. This may include areas such as:

         *    Helping Companies to optimise Tax Incentives

         *    Supporting domestic and overseas operations

         *    Providing Corporate Tax Advice

         *    Developing effective working relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders

         *    Maintaining relevant tax knowledge, staying current with technical developments including changes in tax law and legislation

Experience required:

We are looking for professional individuals with the following:

  • CTA or ACA Qualified (or an international equivalent)
  • Able to demonstrate relevant and current UK tax knowledge to include experience of tax issues facing privately or family owned businesses, private equity portfolio companies and business owners
  •  Ability to manage multiple complex projects at one time to deadline
  •  A confident communicator managing as first point of contact with clients as well as liaison with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong report writing skills with the ability to explain complex matters in a understandable format
  • Competent technology user for both managing client relationships, carrying out analysis and producing deliverables
