Corporate Tax Manager

We are working with an accountancy firm who provide tax compliance and advisory services to a mixture of large corporate clients and local owner managed businesses. They are looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to assist with the delivery of services in one of their north east offices.

Joining an enthusiastic and motivated team you will manage your own client portfolio as well as hold responsibility for that of your teams and the delivery of work. This will involve client meetings, workflow, billing, revenue targets and assisting with training and development. 

Your day to day will see you supporting clients with a range of tax advice as well as managing the compliance process for your clients.  Given the broad range of queries you will handle, the role requires a strong communicator who can liaise with other departments, Partners and individuals to provide the best service to clients.

We are looking for a Corporate Tax Manager (CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with ideally a broad range of technical knowledge to be able to either lead or play a significant role in tax advisory projects with larger corporate entities.  Exposure to multiple sectors will be an advantage as would anyone with Big 4 experience. You must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of carrying out research into complex areas of tax legislation and able to produce well written reports.
