Corporate Tax Assistant/ Senior

An Independant accountancy firm are looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Assistant or Senior to their  tax team in Newcastle.

Ideally bringing one to three years exposure to corporate tax compliance this opportunity will provide a platform for you to develop your technical knowledge with tax projects whilst running the compliance process with support from the Manager.

Your day to day role will see you working closely with the Tax Manager and accounts department assisting in the compliance process for all corporate tax returns:

• Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns for various size companies/groups.
• Ensuring that filing deadlines are met and that clients are notified of corporation tax liabilities in advance of the payment dates.
• Processing HMRC correspondence.
• Preparation of P11Ds.

Ideally working towards your CTA qualification this will suit an individual either from a large firm corporate tax department who is keen to gain more ownership of their portfolio or an individual who has worked in accounts with tax responsibilities. You must hold a minimum of 12 months previous corporate tax experience.

We would look for you to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills with a diligent and proactive approach to your work.
