We are looking on behalf of our client, a well regarded north east accountancy firm, for an Audit Senior to join their growing audit and accounts department.

As a Senior you will predominantly be involved in the completion of audit fieldwork, planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, both on site and remote. You will be responsible for the planning and completion of audit assignments, whilst ensuring audit files have the appropriate and sufficient documentation.
You will also prepare statutory financial statements, hi-lighting any areas of concern to the Partner. Your development will see you planning the execution and finalisation of the audit assignment for Partner review.
With a close knit, you will be expected to actively provide training and mentoring to other members within the team giving you valuable coaching and leadership skills.
The position requires a qualified Auditor, either ACA or ACCA with the relevant minimum 3 years practical experience in a similar audit environment.
