Audit Assistant Manager

A newly created role with this leading accounting firm in Wynyard as they look to further strengthen their audit team with the appointment of an Audit Assistant Manager.

Playing an instrumental role within the team you will support the Senior Management and Partnership group whilst being heavily involved in the completion and oversight of audit fieldwork/planned substantive and analytical audit procedures.

You will have the responsibility for the planning and completion of audit assignments, whilst ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation. You will prepare statutory financial statements from client data and highlight high level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Manager whilst using a significant degree of your own judgement.

You will be responsible for supporting the Manager with leading, motivating and coaching the team as they work through their studies, which as an ACA/ACCA qualified Auditor you will be able to relate to.
