Accounts Senior

A 5 Partner firm on the outskirts of Newcastle City centre with a long reputation in the north east for delivering a first class service to their clients are looking to appoint an Accounts Senior.

Supporting one of the Partners with his client portfolio of SME and OMB’s you will be responsible for first draft of year end statutory accounts preparation for Partner review.  Gathering relevant documents as required and assisting with any enquiries your clients may have.

This is a superb opportunity to work in close proximity with the Partner and enhance your technical skills. Study support for ACCA/ACA is provided (after successful probation) and combined with the experience you will gain on the job, provides an excellent journey to becoming a qualified accountant.

We are looking for an individual working in the accounting profession with relevant practice experience. This may at a more junior level in terms of preparation of accounts or could be an experienced professional who is capable of supporting the Partner more with technical work. A minimum of 2 years relevant accounts experience is required.

The office environemnt is fairly relaxed and laid back creating a nice atmospehere for all.  The role is offered on a hybrid basis providing you with flexibility across your working week to spend time in the office and home (this will depend upon your level of capability). Reduced part-time hours will also be considered.
