Accounts Senior

With a growing portfolio of clients this mid-sized Darlington firm are looking to appoint an Accounts Senior and are able to offer a tailored role to suit the interest of the successful applicant.

As an Accounts Senior we are looking for a qualified, part qualified (ACA/ACCA) or by experience Accountant who is competent with practical (UK experience) in the preparation or statutory accounts for limited, sole trader and partnership accounts. Working with a varied client base the majority are small to medium sized businesses that look to the firm, some for all aspects of accounts, others year end tax and statutory requirements. Their larger clients require audits, for which if you have experience and or an interest you can be involved with, but this is not essential.

A variety of software packages are used including Iris, Xero, Sage and Quickbooks. Experience of these or similar would be required.

The firm offer a very flexible work pattern enabling you to start and finish your day to suit as long as core hours are covered. Staff turnover is very low and you will find a strong team in place to assist you from day one. Full study support is available for those working through their exams or wishing too.
