Accounts Senior

We are inviting applications from experienced Accounts Seniors who would enjoy working in a small rural office on the outskirts of Morpeth in Northumberland.

AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified, by experience or still working through your exams, all levels of qualifications are being considered as we look for the individual to demonstrate their experience of working in a general practice accountancy firm.

Working within a close knit team of colleagues you will be required to support a portfolio of clients with their year end statutory financial accounts completion, aspects of bookkeeping, VAT returns  and personal tax compliance. Many of the clients have been with the firm for a long time and very much value the working relationship they have with the staff. We would look for you to continue in this nature, developing relationships with clients whom you will work with each day.

With it being a small team you will get involved in all aspects of accounting, as such we are looking for an individual who has gained their experience from a small to mid tier firm and holds a good understanding of all aspects of accounting. If there are gaps, such as tax compliance this can be taught, the most important aspect is that you enjoy the variety of work on offer.

The position is office based, but does come with some flexibility to work at home from time to time, albeit we are keen to find someone who enjoys the atmosphere of working in a small team each day. There is a good benefits package available with various benefits.
