Accounts Outsourcing Senior

An accountancy firm with a refreshing, relaxed and friendly work culture are looking to appoint an experienced Accountant or Outsourcing Senior from public practice or Industry to join them in their modern and attractive Newcastle office.

Working within outsourcing services you will have the freedom to forge close relationships with your clients, getting to know them and their business well. Your responsibilities will include:

• Completion of monthly management accounts
• Monthly and Weekly bookkeeping including quarterly VAT returns
• On site client visits
• Supporting clients with the transition and set up on new accounting systems
• Working with variety of cloud software including Sage, quickbooks and Xero

The individual must be able to demonstrate through their current and previous experience their ability to work independently with clients and communicate at ease with business owners.

As a firm, technology is embraced and you will find yourself working with a number of packages including Sage, Xero, Quickbooks and forecasting software. It is essential you have a good working knowledge of at least one of these, with Xero being the preferred choice.

Whilst experience in this role is vital, support will be given for those still developing their knowledge and keen to qualify as an Accountant.  We would welcome outgoing and confident individuals with ambition to progress to Manager as expansion in the department will require this level of expertise in time.
