A great opportunity to join a well established accountancy firm who are enjoying growth with a continuous demand from new clients for accounting services. As such they are looking to appoint a Client Manager into a newly created position within their offices just north of Newcastle city centre.

A warm welcome awaits the successful Accountant from this close knit team who work well together, spending half the week in the office as a team and a couple of days working independently from home. This hybrid style seems to work well and employees value the flexibility and trust they are afforded.

As an Accountant you will undertake a leadership role within a small finance team, providing guidance and support, reviewing accounts, managing workflow and billing. You will be responsible for the completion and review of limited company, sole traders and partnership accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.

Working predominantly with Xero you will liaise daily with clients, gathering information and providing advice to any queries as well as ensuring the team are delivering a first class service to clients and achieving deadlines.  This will involve delegation and allocation of work to the team. Some staff will need guidance, others more regular training as they continue with their learning.

Interest is welcome from either qualified or qualified by experience Accountants as well as Accounts Seniors with some supervisory experience.  Applicants must have relevant UK accounting practice experience as this is not a training position.

This is a great role for those that enjoy working in a general practice environment, involved in all aspects of accounting, within a modern and forward thinking environment.  The role is offered on a 3 days office and 2 days at home basis.
