Accountant – Newly Qualified

We are seeking a newly Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with up to 2 years post qualification experience to join a successful expanding team with a large accounting firm in Newcastle.

The opportunity offers a varied general practice accounting role which will see you working directly with clients looking after their financial and management accounting needs. Clients range from a sole trader through to large investment companies and everything in between.

On a day to day basis your role will encompass the following: year end financial statements for both micro and IFRS102; bookkeeping; management accounting; tax compliance. This includes both the preparation and review, supported by a Manager and is open to applicants from either practice or Industry.

My client will also consider newly qualified’s who would like to transition from audit and assurance to enhance their practical experience and develop their advisory skills, similarly those trained in management accounts keen to gain exposure in financial accounting.

The role is offered with the requirement to be office based a minimum of 2 days each week, Initially full-time while you are learning the job. Those who prefer to be in the office 5 days a week will have plenty of company, yet the flexibility to work from home also. A comprehensive salary package is available as is flexible working hours.
