Outsourcing Accountant / Assistant Manager

Joining this leading accountancy firm based in Stockton you will be surrounded by similar like-minded ambitious accounting professionals who are all focused upon client delivery. They are looking to welcome an Accountant to their team to support with the production of statutory and management accounts.

Working closely alongside the Manager in the team you will enjoy developing client relationships as you work to produce more complex annual statutory accounts with commentary on recommendations. From both the office and at times clients premises you will provide support to clients with their day to day queries whilst also mentoring more junior members.

The position will involve a small amount of high end bookkeeping but in the main you will spend your time producing monthly management accounts as well as the year end statutory close.  Client sectors are wide ranging from leisure and property to family trusts and not for profit organisations.

We are looking for either a ACA/ACCA/CA qualified Accountant or if you are still studying full support for fees and study will be covered. Practice experience is required but we would also be interested in those with either outsourcing or management accounts experience.

Plenty of scope for progression is readily available to Assistant Manager and beyond where you would have your own client portfolio to manage. The department is expanding and with that comes future opportunities.

Applicants will be familiar with using Xero and Sage in order to support their clients most effectively.

The role offers hybrid working between home and office but you will need to commit to being in the office full-time during your learning and induction period.
